Hailey Hot Springs Ranch

Hailey Hot Springs Ranch represents the Wood River Land Trust’s top conservation priority in its 30-year history. Just over a mile from downtown Hailey, the 2,700-acre property stretches across an entire canyon and borders the Land Trust’s 486-acre Hailey Greenway, creating an unparalleled connection between town and wild lands. This landscape safeguards vital wildlife habitat and migration routes for sage grouse, sandhill cranes, elk, mule deer, pronghorn, moose, and countless other species. Its natural richness includes nine miles of streams feeding into the Big Wood River, as well as rare geothermal springs. With over 2,000 feet of elevation change, the ranch is a climate-resilient stronghold essential to the region’s environmental future. Beyond protecting habitat, the Land Trust’s vision also ensures public recreation and stewardship opportunities in collaboration with key partners such as the Blaine County Recreation District, University of Idaho, Idaho Fish & Game, and The Nature Conservancy Idaho.
